Fun, Educational Websites to Encourage Your Child’s Learning

Houghton Mifflin Reading and Math Expressions: http://www.eduplace.com At this site you will find activities that support both our Reading and Math curriculums. It has many activities that correspond to the concepts that we are learning in second grade. When you get to the site you will indicate your state. Next choose Reading and Language Arts or Math. When you go to Reading you will need to choose which book we use. Click on the image with the wavy line under the book. When you go to Math click on Math Expressions. You can select Grade 1 at both sites.

Spelling City: http://www.spellingcity.com/ Here you can practice our spelling words with fun games or quiz your self to see how well you can spell many different words.
