Mrs. Klatt

Hi everyone,

My name is Kathy Klatt and I am very happy to be back teaching students through the visual arts. I have taught all ages of students, pre-school through college (Holmen WI, Henderson, Watertown-Mayer, MSU and Saint Peter). I grew up in Rochester, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a M.Ed. in art education.

I live in Saint Peter with my husband and my two daughters, ages 7 and 6. This summer, we spent lots of time with family and took 2 trips to the North Shore.

Art is vital to the development of young children. In art classes at South ELC, students will learn to think creatively, become more visually aware and increase their appreciation of art history and art making. It should be a great year!
