Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year. Kindergarten is a very exciting time in the life of a child, their families and kindergarten teachers.! This is my 10th year teaching kindergarten in St. Peter. Previous to this I taught kindergarten and 1st grade in Albert Lea, Minnesota. My husband, Ken and I live in Mankato. We have four grown children, (three children and a daughter-in law.) We also have two "grand girls." Sydney is seven and a half and Morgan is 4 and a half.( Yes, I will show you pictures!)

This summer my husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary in Victoria, British Columbia. It was a wonderful trip and we were fortunate to be able to spend time in this beautiful place. We also went on a bike trip with our children and grandchildren from Sparta WI to Elroy WI. It is an amzazing ride through countryside and tunnels. The best part of the trip for us was time spent with our children and grandchildren. 

In my free time (mostly in the summer) I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking and biking.
