Lyn Vavreck

Hello! I'm Lyn Vavreck. I teach 9-11 grade at the Hoffmann Learning Center. I graduated from St. Cloud State in 1983 with a B.S. in Special Education. I started teaching in Lewiston, Idaho, then moved to Preston, Minnesota and finally ended up in St. Peter, when my husband, Jim got a teaching job here. I started out as an aid at the Hoffmann Center. Since then I've taught at North Intermediate, St. Peter High School, and back to the Hoffmann Center. I recently completed my Masters in Education through St. Mary's University.

I've lived in St. Peter since 1990. I have three children, two who have graduated from St. Peter High School. My husband teaches 4th grade at North Intermediate School. My hobbies include playing piano, scrapbooking, reading, swimming and theater. I'm also the Technical Director for High School plays and Director for the One Act Play.
