Robert Groebner
Welcome to parents and students. Here's a little information about me and the courses I teach at St. Peter High School.
I graduated from Mankato East High School and have teaching degrees in Chemistry and Earth & Space Systems from MSU-Mankato. Before joining the faculty at St. Peter High School, I taught in the Mankato and Faribault Public Schools systems. During my summers, I head to north central Minnesota to serve as director of Cuyuna Scout Camp. This allows me to continue working as an educator, though in a very different setting.
The courses I teach are designed with the natural curiosity of students in mind. The physical sciences give us an opportunity to study how and why things are as we observe them. Through increased understanding of the connection between the behavior of matter and the basic forces governing our universe, we can become more-informed citizens and make better choices with respect to the environmental and economic issues we face today. Today's students are tomorrow's decision-makers, so we must give them the tools necessary to make wise choices.
