Welcome to Adaptive Bowling!
The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) has two competitive interscholastic divisions: Physically Impaired (PI) and Cognitively Impaired (CI). Participation in the interscholastic program of a high school is limited to students in grades 7 through 12. Students in an ungraded setting are first eligible when their age peers are in the 7th grade. Students will be eligible for 8 consecutive semesters (4 years), beginning with their or their peers initial entrance into the 9th grade.
Goal and Mission of Adapted Bowling:
Our goal at SPHS is to give students a chance to compete in an adaptive sport against other schools that have adaptive bowling. Students will be given a chance to compete against schools when their scores are faxed to the opposing schools. Students will then have a chance to compete in a state tournament against all the schools in the state with adapted bowling.
As coaches, we will promote teamwork, sportsmanship, proper bowling technique and etiquette, and responsibility. More importantly, as a team we will have fun.
