Prom Tickets go on sale in Mrs. Clementson’s Office

SPHS PROM

1. Tickets for the dance may be purchased in the Senior High office for $30 per person. Guest tickets for any Junior or Senior are also $30. Saint Peter High School Seniors and those juniors who have met their fundraising obligation will receive one free ticket. All complimentary tickets may be picked up in the senior high office when you sign up for the event. The deadline for names in the grand march program is Wednesday, April 25^th. Tickets are available through Friday the 27^th.

2. Students attending the dance must be at least juniors or seniors of any high school. Graduates from St. Peter High School or other high schools are also welcome. Be sure to fill out the guest form by April 25th and return it to Mr. Alger in the Senior High Office.

GRAND MARCH

1. Grand March tickets are available in the Sr. High Office for $3.00 each and will also be sold at the door until all tickets are sold. Seating will be on a first-come first-served basis. We recommend that you buy your family’s tickets in advance to avoid the lines.

2. The Grand March will begin at 8:00 p.m. in the high school gymnasium and will last approximately one hour. The gym lobby doors will open for spectators no earlier than 7:00 p.m. The gymnasium will not be open for viewing prior to this time. Spectator parking for the Grand March is limited to the football field parking lot and the northwest teacher parking lot. The remaining lots are reserved for the prom participant’s valet parking.

3. Prom participants may enter the athletic doors beginning at 7:00 p.m. for the Grand March. Tickets will be taken as you enter; then proceed to the cafeteria. A coat-check area is available in the theater. Follow the signs.

4. Valet parking will be available from 7:00-7:55 p.m. at the athletic doors. Adult volunteers will park cars in the nearest available parking lot. Everyone attending the prom must give their vehicle keys to the valets. Keys are returned to all students from the lobby ticket booth when they leave the dance.

5. Spectators of the Grand March are asked to remain on the bleachers and not attempt to reach the prom participants.

6. All prom participants who wish to be a part of the Grand March will be announced by the MC and walk through the gym by couple. Return to the cafeteria and line up for the “promenade” for the 2nd walk-through. When finished with the final walk-through, grand march participants are asked to go to the cafeteria and remain there until the Grand March is over. Do not attempt to reach the spectators.

7. After all grand march participants are in the cafeteria, spectators will be asked to leave the building using the gymnasium lobby or athletic doors. All other doors in the building will be inaccessible.

8. Spectators are asked to refrain from entering the cafeteria on their way out of the building. Grand march participants are asked to refrain from exiting the cafeteria until all spectators have left the building.

The Dance

1. The dance will begin after all spectators have left the building at approximately 9:15 p.m.

2. The dance will conclude at 11:45 p.m. Car keys collected during the valet parking may be picked up in the gym lobby ticket booth when you choose to leave for the evening. Once you leave the building you will not be allowed back in.
