I have been in this district since 1986, starting out first as a substitute teacher, then supervisor of the CAVE for five years, and finally back into the classroom as a full-time teacher since 1994. Currently I teach eighth and ninth grade English. I believe our middle/high school students are young adults who need to be treated with respect. My classroom philosophy allows students to be successful while still being able to have time outside of room 208 for family, sports, and fun. I find middle/high school students to be lively, humorous, and caring.

My spare time is filled with bike riding, walking, reading, enjoying my two adult children, playing with my grandson, and last, but not least, raising two rather lively dachshunds.
