Class rules, class syllabus and shading packet (due Sept 5). Intro to the elements of Art and Love/hate assignment (due sept 9)

September 10-16. Balance unit. Studets will create three designs using symmetrical, radial, and asymmetrical balance. (due Sept 16)

September 16-26. Tessellation unit. Students will learn how to tessellate a square and create a drawing finding two fantacy images, then complete the assignment using colored pencils.

September 29-October 3 Perspective unit students will create an interior room using 1 point perspective. Due 10/6

10/6 Students will making their own scratchboard with a wild life scene. Due 10/20

10/21 Students will review the warm, cool color schemes and pattern. Using a warm and cool color scheme students will use graph paper to complete their assignment.
