students will create a 3-D mask using paper mache to change the shape of the ballon. Pattern and paint will be used. Periods 1 &2. Periods 5&6 will create wizards using clay. Clay is due 11/4

Periods 1 & 2 will continue with the mask assignment that will be due 11/14

Periods 5 & 6 will start the advertising unit starting with the letter style assignments (name 3x from magazines using different fonts due 11/7 and the inventive alphabet due 11/12. students will create a poster using tempra paint. Due 11/19. students will also be glazing their wizards

November 19-December 5

Watercolor techniques create a watercolor painting using templates in a compositional arrangement of the four reviewed in class

Landscapes using foreground (large), background (small), and middle ground in a 3-D form and the basic compositional arrangements with watercolor.
