Monday --- Student handbook meetings Assign "Eating Patterns" reading and study guide. Alow classtime to complete.
Tuesday -- Sensory Evaluation notes and discussion for understanding * Watch and reflect on video "Taste, the inside story" * The tasting game will be completed in class.
Wednesday -- 6-trait writing assignment explained and assigned. * Kitchen safety discussion and students will sign safety contract.
Thursday -- First food lab. Sensory Evaluation ( Popcorn) Students will prepare, serve and evaluate all popcorns made. Hand in written eval.
Friday -- Test including, Food choices, Food labels, Additives, Wellness, Kitchen Safety and Sensory evaluation.
