Grading Procedures:
A student’s grade is based on completion of daily tasks and assignments meant to strengthen their understanding of a topic and unit assessments. In order to assess the knowledge a student has obtained the teacher uses various assessments. If any assessment has not been completed a student cannot be accurately graded. Thus, all assessments must be completed before a grade can be determined.
All late work is marked down by 40%. Late work for a unit will not be graded once a unit is completed.
Students who are absent have two days for each day they were absent to complete make- up work. Absences which are unexcused do not receive this opportunity.
