Epsilon Sigma Alpha Foundation Scholarship- Up to $20,000. Deadline: late January.

Gates Millennium Scholarhip- Deadline: early January.

The Mediacom Scholarship Program- $1,000. Deadline: early February.

AXA AAchievement Scholarship- $10,000- $25,000. www.axa-achievement.com. Deadline is mid January.

Elks National Foundation- $4,000- $60,000. Deadline: early November.

Minnesota Women's Golf Association- $12,000. Deadline: late March.

Sam Walton COmmunity Schoarship--Online information, and applciations, can be found at www.walmartfoundation.org. Deadline: Early January.

Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship- Based on schalarship, leadership, and financial need. 500-four year awards. Access code is SWSC. Deadline: Early January.

US Bank Internet Scholarship Program- 30-$1000 scholarships. Deadline: late January. www.usbank.com/studentbanking

American Cancer Youth Scholarship Program- Must be under age 25 with a cancer diagnosis before 21st birthday. Deadline: mid March.

National Wild Turkey Federation- $250 award. Deadline: early January.

Minnesota Valley Credit Union- Four, $500 awards. Deadline: early February.

Kiwanis Education Foundation- Inc. $800 award. Deadline: mid January.

Bill Mainerich Memorial Scholarship- Essay contest with $500 award. Deadline: late January.

MN State University, Mankato- Talent and scholarship grants. Deadline: mid January.

Discover Card Tribute Award Scholarship Program- available for JUNIORS who plan to purse higher education. Based on leadership, special talents, community service, and obstacles overcome. Deadline: early January.

Burger King Scholars Program- $1,000 awards. Application online at www.bk.com/scholars Deadline: mid February.

KFC Colonel's Scholars Program-assisting students with financial need who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree at a Minnesota public college. Min GPA of 2.75. Complete online application from early December through mid February.

Minnesota State University-Mankato, Marin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship. Min GPA 2.5. Deadline: early January.

University of St. Thomas- 2 $8,000 awards to students majoring in math, science or engineering. Deadline: early December.

Andy Kruger Memorial Scholarship- must intent to continue education in field working with youth. Deadline: mid April.

Greg Weise Memorial Sholarship- Business or finance majors. $300 award. Deadline: mid April.

Elizabeth Meureur Memorial Scholarship- $1,000 award. Deadline: mid April.

Edward H. Schultz Scholarship- $1,000 award. Deadline: mid April.

Bolton and Menk Scholsarhip- Major in engineering. $500 award. Deadline: mid April.

St. Peter Fire Department Scholarship- $300 award. Deadline: mid April.

Eckert Plumbing & Heating Scholarship- For those entering plumbing and heating career. $200 award. Deadline: mid April.

St. Peter-Kasota Dollars for Scholars- Deadline: mid March.

Masons of Nicolle County Lodge #54- $500 award. Those with Masonic roots will be given preference. Deadline: mid April.

Aviation Scholarship from the Local EAA Chapter 642, Mankato- Must plan on enrolling in aviation school. Three $500 awards. Deadline: early May.

AgStar Fund for Rural America- ten $1,000 awards for seniors entering an ag-related field. Deadline: early April.

LeSueur Country Port Producers- $300 award to a country resident involved in pork production. Deadline: early April.

Tom Bovitz Memorial Scholarship- essay contest on the importance of municipal utilities. Deadline: early April.

Masons of Nicollet Lodge- Deadline: mid April.

Minnesota AFL-CIO Scholarship- Five $1,000 awards given to members or dependents of members. Deadeline: late April.

United Farmers Cooperative: Seven $500 awrds to dependent children of full-time employees. Deadline: early April.

J. Scott Sanders, M.D. Memorial Scholarship- $2,000 award. Deadline: early April.

American Cancer Society Youth Scholarhsip. Deadline: Early March.

Minnesota Soybean Growers Association Scholarship- Six $1,000 awards. Must pursue education in agriculture-related field. Deadline: Late February.

Minnesota ALF-CIO Scholarship- Five $1,000 awards. Straight "B" average necessary. Deadline: Late April.

Vallely Will Fund Scholarship Program- Awards ranging from $500-$2,500. Deadline: Early March.

Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year Award (Got Milk?)- $7,500 college scholarship. Applicants will be judged on their academic performance, athletic eccvellence, leadership, community service, and milk experience. Deadline: Early March.

Martin Luther King Scholarship- Must plan to enrol in at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Deadline: Janueary 15, 2010.

United Farmers Cooperative (UFC) Scholarship Program- Up to seven $750 awards and one $500 award. For dependent children of UFC full-time employees or voting patrons. Deadline: Early April.

J. Scott Sanders, M.D. Memorial Scholarship- $2,000 award. Deadline: Early April

American Legion Auxilliary- If considered a"Citizen" of the program, students are eligible for a $1,000 Samsung scholarship. Must enroll in Minnesota Girls State. Deadline: Late March.

Kohl's Kids Who Care Scholarship Program- Students must describe volunteer efforts within the past year. Winners are chosen based on the project, benefits and outcome. Possible awards include a $50 Kohl's gift card, $1,000, and $10,000. Deadline: mid March.

Nicollet/Sibley County Corn & Soybean Growers Association- Students must plan to enroll in a two- or four-year college majoring in any agriculture field of study. Students must reside in Sibley or Nicollet county and their family must be a Corn and Soybean Growers member. Scholarships will be awarded based on students' activities and academics. A short essay is required. Six- $400 scholarships will be awarded. Deadline: Mid April.
