Mr. Hartfiel's Third Grade Classroom

Hello and welcome to our third grade classroom. My name is Jack Hartfiel and this will be my 12th year teaching here in St.Peter. I received my teaching degree from St.Cloud State University and have a masters degree in teaching and learning from St.Mary's University. I live in St.Peter with my wife Sarah and two children(Max age 9 and Mallory age 7).

In our classroom we will cover Reading/Language Arts, Math, Science, Health, and Social Studies. Expectations in our classroom include always doing your best, using kind words, listen, be quick to forgive, and think before acting. Everyone is expected to be respectful at all times. The key to having a successful classroom is making sure everyone feels safe and accepted.
