Hello and Welcome to Fifth Grade. My name is Mr. Helget and I am very excited about the upcoming school year. I am orginally from Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. I recieved my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Gustavus Adolphus College in May, 2010. I am currently working on getting my Master's degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato in Educational Leadership. I am looking forward to working with and getting to know the rest of the fifth grade team. I will be teaching three sections of Math this year and one section of Book Club, Language Arts, and Social Studies. During the 2011-2012 school year I will be coaching 8th grade football, junior high basketball, and 9th grade baseball. During my free time I enjoy being outdoors, watching/playing sports, and spending time with my family and friends. On the weekend you can find me cheering on our local Gusties to a win on the football field or basketball court!! Go Gusties!!
