Ms. Jodi Nixon

 

 

My name is Mrs. Jodi Nixon and I am a 1st and 2nd grade looping teacher at South Elementary Early Learning Center. This year I will be teaching 1st grade!

I am a St. Peter native. I even went to South Elementary for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. I graduated from St. Peter High School in 1996 and from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa in 2000. I earned a Master's Degree from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2004. I taught for 6 years at Jefferson Elementary School in Faribault, Minnesota before coming to St. Peter.

I live with my husband Dave and my son Kolby in St. Peter. 

 My hobbies include playing softball in the spring and summer and playing volleyball in the winter. I also enjoy scrapbooking, reading and spending time with my family and friends.
