Dear Saint Peter Schools Families,

It has been wonderful to have students from North and South back in our classrooms. This week we look forward to welcoming back both Middle and High School students in the hybrid model. Tomorrow is an A day.

There will be no school for students from North and South on Thursday or Friday this week as teachers prepare to welcome all elementary students back to school for in-person learning on Tuesday, January 19th. Distance Learning will continue as an option for families choosing to do so.

Regarding Covid data for our school community, among students and staff there are currently 2 positive cases and 6 in quarantine.

The official MDH cases rates and current rates for the counties we serve are still being monitored. The official case rate data for Nicollet County is 38.18 with a current rate of 46.4. The Le Sueur County official rate is 44.31 with a current rate of 48.8.

With businesses reopening, activities resuming with limited spectators, and students coming back to school, it may start to feel like things are getting back to normal-- however, is important that we all continue to be diligent with COVID safety practices. Our ability to continue in-person learning is dependent on the health of our community.

Thank you for all you are doing to keep our students and staff safe during this time of transition and as always, thank you for being a part of the Saints Nation where we are Saints Strong and Everyone Belongs.

Kind Regards,

Bill Gronseth
Superintendent
Saint Peter Schools
