Mr. David Haugh is the district's 7th-12th grade band director, which includes four different concert bands, two jazz bands, the pep band, and the marching band.

Lessons are offered to students through 9th grade, with each quarter's requirements varied depending on time of year. Students in grades 10-12 will often have some sort of individual requirement most quarters.

The top jazz ensemble meets throughout the school year, and meets before school on Wednesdays, as well as during some Saints Time periods. Students are allowed in by permission only, and are limited to the instrument needs dictated by the music. The second jazz band meets at the middle school on Fridays before school and is open to any band member. Jazz 1 typically performs at the Indoor Marching Concert in November, at the annual Cleveland HS/St. Peter Jazz Concert in January, at solo & ensemble contest in April, and at both of the March and May concerts. Jazz 2 usually only performs at the May concert.

The pep band typically plays at most home football games, and a few other fall sporting events, then gets more active during the winter season. Students in high school are expected to participate as much as possible, and 8th graders are also invited to play during the winter season. The pep band also performs occasionally at pepfests and other events.

The Saints Marching Band begins rehearsing in May and has a busy early summer season, typically with a big overnight weekend centered around Father's Day. The season continues into early July before there is long break. Starting again in late August the band marches a few times into mid September. The marching band is generally made up of students going into high school, although graduated seniors are also accepted. Marching band is a voluntary group, but all band members put on the uniform for the homecoming game and the Indoor Marching Concert in November. Students may participate in marching band even if they are not enrolled in band, but only with the director's permission.

The four concert bands meet throughout the year and have varying concert schedules. Typically, the middle school bands perform in December, March, and May, while the two high school band perform in the Indoor in November, then as separate bands in March and May. The Concert Band (usually grades 10-12) also competes at the Large Group Contest in March each year.
