Welcome back breakfast

Saint Peter Public School’s annual Back to School Workshop Week for teachers and staff is usually kicked off with the annual Welcome Back breakfast at Gustavus Adolphus College’s Student Center on the first day of this week. This year’s breakfast was pushed back a few days to allow staff at Saint Peter Middle School, Early Childhood Center, and the District Office to get settled in as the first phase of the summer renovation project winds down.

Following the breakfast, SPPS administrators for each of the district’s eight locations (SPHS, SPMS, North Elementary, South Elementary, Early Childhood Center, Rock Bend/ALC, Oshawa Learning Center, and Community & Family Education) took turns introducing their new staff members. Superintendent Dr. Jon Graff also provided a district update at that time.

ABOVE, SPPS Wellness Committee members (l to r) Rachel Fitch, Mariah Myhra, Jennie Friedrich, and Stephanie Noble helped hand out a gift to each of the school staff attending the Welcome Back Breakfast at Gustavus on Thursday morning.

The event also included keynote speaker Ann Vote, a popular culture coach and the creator of the IMPACT Method. With 14 years in education as a teacher and mentor, Ann shared her firsthand knowledge on how leadership and culture can shape a classroom or a team.

Above and below are some photo highlights of the breakfast and guest speaker Ann Vote addressing the SPPS staff!
