Saint Peter Middle School Student Council members finished tallying up the money that was collected through this year’s annual Penny Wars fundraiser. This year, the SPMS students raised $1,731.89, which is donated to a different charity each year, and this year it will go to Habitat for Humanity.

“The fundraiser this year was for Habitat for Humanity,” Mrs. Knutson, the SPMS Student Council advisor, said. “One of the things I love about student council is seeing their excitement and passion for helping others. They really are amazing students!”
Mrs. Panitzke’s class was the overall winner and top fifth-grade advisory group, and was awarded donuts for their efforts. Other grade level advisory winners were Mr. Malz (sixth grade), Mr. Stuewe (seventh grade), and Mr. Bartholow (eighth grade). Those groups received cookies!
