Be sure to mark your calendars! Saint Peter High School’s fall musical production of the Disney-classic “The Little Mermaid” hits the Performing Arts Center stage during the weekend of November 21-23, with a slightly different schedule this year compared to previous fall shows.
In the past, the SPHS fall play always opened on a Thursday night, but given the anticipated popularity of this year’s show with a younger audience, the Thursday night show has been dropped in favor of adding a Saturday matinee. Robbie Deering is the director while Bri Bergstrom is the vocal director for this year’s show with Scott Robinson serving as technical director.
“This year we are incredibly excited to have such a large cast and crew to bring this story to life,” Deering said. “We knew that it would be a popular production for our school and our community when we selected it, so everyone is working very hard to bring this story to life on our stage. Many of the roles in this show reflect a lot of the strengths our students have which has been a fun energy to have at the start of the rehearsal process.”
The following is the list of show dates and times for the SPHS fall musical production of “The Little Mermaid”:
Friday, Nov. 21 - 7 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 22 - 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 23 - 2 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale in early November so stay tuned for that info!
