BOOSTER CLUB’S SAINTS SOCIAL INFO - The Saints Booster Club’s annual Saints Social (formerly the Booster Bash) is set for Friday, March 27, starting at 6:30 p.m. at The Capitol Room. SCHOOL CLOSING & FLEXIBLE LEARNING DAY INFO FOR FRIDAY - Saint Peter Public Schools will be closed tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 23) due to the anticipated colder-than-normal weather, and we will be implementing a Flexible Learning Day.
PLEASE NOTE -- All practices, games, and events scheduled for Friday have also been canceled. However, all practices, games, and events scheduled for later today (Thursday) and also on Saturday are still on as planned, per the Saints Activities Office. Please check the SPPS social media pages and website for any possible changes.
During Friday’s Flexible Learning Day, teachers will be available via email and through classroom virtual spaces. Principals can be reached by phone or email, and we encourage you to contact them if you have any questions.

SPMS WINTER CONCERTS REMINDER - Saint Peter Middle School students take to the SPHS Performing Arts Center stage the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 2! The SPMS 5th Grade Choir Concert kicks things off at 6 p.m. at the PAC, while the 7th & 8th Grade Choir Concert takes center stage at 7 p.m. Both concerts are FREE and open to the public! SPMS KICKS OFF 2ND QUARTER DURING ASSEMBLY! Saint Peter Middle School students and staff gathered in the school’s gym on Monday morning to celebrate the start of the third quarter of the 2025-26 school year. Included in the assembly were a welcome by Principal Jessi Buttell, a recognition of the most recent Students of the Month, a student raffle for prizes, and a Minute-to-Win-It game which was won by the Pine House (gr. 8). SPPS STAFF’S BACK TO SCHOOL WORKSHOP WEEK IS UPON US! Saint Peter Public Schools’ teachers returned to work this week for the annual Back-to-School Workshops. Teachers at Saint Peter High School, North Elementary, and Saint Peter High School have been busy with staff meetings and workshop sessions, per usual.

2025 SPPS STAFF RECOGNITION - Saint Peter Public Schools hosted its annual Staff Recognition Reception on Wednesday afternoon at the SPHS Commons. This is the event where school officials honor the Distinguished Service Award winners, those staff members retiring at the end of the school year, and those who have achieved 25 years of service.
This year's honorees include:
Distinguished Service Award: Dr. Jeff Olson (Saint Peter Interim Superintendent and long-time past SPPS administrator, teacher, and coach) and Nickl Rozsa (long-time North Elementary media center support, para, and kitchen support).
Retirees: SPHS - Kris Glidden (PE/Health teacher), Kelly Jensen (SPHS social worker), George Schoenborn (Business Ed teacher), and Christa Herr (paraprofessional); North Elementary - Mike Keller (Custodian) and Nick Rozsa (Support staff); and South Elementary - Heidi Wenner (Kindergarten teacher), Ann Braun (paraprofessional), and Barb Franchino (paraprofessional).
25-years of Service - SPHS - Kurt Moelter (Math teacher); SPMS - Connie Brezina (Special Education); Early Childhood - Helen Hager (paraprofessional).
