Indigenous Peoples Day Walk

The Indigenous Peoples Day Walk is set for 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, starting at the Saint Peter Middle School south parking lot area and ending up at Minnesota Square Park.

This free public event, presented by the Saint Peter Public Schools’ Native American Parent Advisory Committee (NAPAC), is a day to reflect on our Native American cultural history and Native heritage. The Indigenous Peoples Day Walk is also a day of unity and embracing diversity and inclusion. The event will also include entertainment (Native American singers & dancers), and light refreshments will be served.

“Native American families can come on out and showcase signs/banners representing Native American pride,” NAPAC Chair Charmayne Klah said.
