Saint Peter High School announced the 2023 Homecoming senior candidates on Monday morning during the traditional banner drop in the SPHS commons area during Saints Time. 

Queen candidates include (listed alphabetically) Olivia Hollerich, Rhyan Holmgren, Mackenzie Moline, Rachel Salfer, and Rylee Stadick. King candidates include Josh Bosacker, Kaiden Brovold, Luke Gilbertson, Corbin Herron and Brenden Larson.

SPHS will celebrate Homecoming 2023 the week of September 25-30 with a variety of activities and events taking place throughout the week. Those events/activities are organized by the SPHS Student Council. The following is a schedule of Homecoming events:

Monday, Sept. 25 - Cozy/Comfy Day; Pepfest (candidate intros & videos)
Tuesday, Sept. 26 - White Lie Day
Wednesday, Sept. 27 - Rhyme Without a Reason Day
Thursday, Sept. 28 - Barbie vs Oppenheimer Day
Friday, Sept. 29 - Saints Pride Day; Pepfest & games during afternoon; Parade at 4:30 (from Lincoln Drive down Broadway Avenue, south on North 3rd Street, west on Grace Street up to SPMS); Coronation before football game (approximately 6:30 p.m.); Football game at 7 p.m. vs. Belle Plaine.
Saturday, Sept. 30 - Homecoming Dance, 9 to 11 p.m., SPHS gym
