Art students in all three grades at North Elementary (gr. 2-4) were busy this week working on a school-wide collaborative piece that celebrates the individualism, originality, and personality of each student. Then, each of the students' individual projects were put together by classroom to create larger works of art that will be on display in the school’s lunch room, according to Mrs. Nyhammer, North’s art teacher.
“This is a fun project that the students were really excited about and they really put a lot of effort into it,” Nyhammer said. “Once it is all completed the goal is to hang them up in the lunchroom and really bring some color into that space.”
