Saints Select Choir 2025-26

Saint Peter High School’s newest choir, which is an auditioned group of 50 students from grades 10-12, has been given the rare opportunity to perform at the Minnesota Music Educators Association’s Mid-Winter Convention on February 12, 2026, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The new group, named the SPHS Fleur de Lis Singers, will perform about a 45-minute set during the convention.

“This is a huge deal for our students to be asked to perform at this MMEA event,” SPHS Choir Director Bri Bergstrom said. “We’re working on a fully student-designed program which includes choosing the music they perform, and one of our students, Bekah Roemhildt, is even writing one of the songs that our choir will sing.

“Normally, MMEA features more traditional-type choirs during this convention, but we have a non-traditional approach to choir here (at SPHS) and we were asked to perform to show them what we are about. The music we’ll be performing with this new group will be totally different than what is typically performed at the convention, and it’s really an honor for our students to be given this opportunity!”
