Here is an amazing opportunity for Saint Peter High School Spanish students later this school year! SPHS’s Spanish language department will once again participate in an immersive Spanish weekend at Concordia Language Villages, El Lago del Bosque, located near Bemidji, in the spring of 2026. The theme for this year is “Las Maravillas del Mundo Hispano,” and the following is all of the details:
📅 Trip Dates: April 9–12, 2026
💲 Program Cost: $370 per student
🎓 Scholarships: We can offer $70 scholarships for students who truly need financial assistance.
🚍 Transportation: Provided free of charge by St. Peter Public Schools
During this four-day Spanish immersion experience, students will feel as if they’ve traveled to a Spanish-speaking country, all without leaving Minnesota! From the moment they arrive, they’ll pass through customs with their “passports”, exchange their money for local currency, and participate in games, songs, cultural activities, and delicious meals, ¡todo en español!. It’s a fun, authentic way to build confidence and language fluency while connecting with Hispanic cultures from around the world.
