Saint Peter High School students in Michelle Javens' Intro to Culinary class had their in-class Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday of last week, and the event was well received!
"Each group had to make a dish using only a $10 budget and 40 minutes—no easy task—but they pulled it off," Javens said. "They practiced teamwork, time management, table setting, and basic cooking skills, and then got to sit down and enjoy the meal together.
"A lot of students were excited to try foods they’d never had before, and everyone really seemed to enjoy the experience. It was a fun way to wrap up before break and let them see what they can accomplish as a team."
