“The money is supporting the local animal shelter - P.A.W.S. which is run by the St. Peter Police Department,” Mrs. Knutson, the SPMS Student Council advisor, said. “The students in student council this year have been adamant about wanting to do something to support our local animals/animal shelter. So, when we started discussing our annual penny wars competition, they chose PAWS right away!”
