Saint Peter High School’s annual Homecoming celebration is set for the week of October 5-10. The SPHS Student Council has a full day of activities scheduled throughout that busy and fun-filled week.
SPHS Homecoming candidates were announced today (Friday) during Saints Time during the traditional banner drop by the Student Council members with percussionists Maya Knutson and Enzo Gazzola providing the drum roll to add to the suspense. Homecoming Queen candidates include (listed alphabetically by last name) Audrey Menning, Lily Prunty, Sammy Rubischko, Lyric Ruble, and Noelle Simonette. Homecoming King candidates include (listed alphabetically by last name) Alex Korir, Ryan Moelter, Finley Olson, Everett Pettis, and Zakir SayidNour.
HOMECOMING WEEK 2026 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Monday, Oct. 5 - Pajama Day
Tuesday, Oct. 6 - Surfer vs. Biker Day (the “vroom, vroom” kind of biker!)
Wednesday, Oct. 7 - Class Color Day (Seniors - Pink, Juniors - Blue, Sophomores - Purple, Freshmen - Green)
Thursday, Oct. 8 - Adam Sandler Day
Friday, Oct. 9 - Fun Day (early release schedule featuring: Pep Fest, indoor and outdoor games and activities) Saints Day, Parade at 4:30 (see flyer for more info); coronation at approximately 6:30, football game vs. Albert Lea, 7 p.m. at Floyd B. Johnson Field.
Saturday, Oct. 10 - Homecoming Dance (Semi-Formal, High School Gym 8-10pm. Doors lock at 8:30pm)
