A group of around 60 third-grade and fourth-grade students from North Elementary attended the annual Science and Nature Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College earlier this week. Morgan Lenhoff, North Elementary's media center specialist, led the North group.
South Central Service Cooperative sponsors the conference, which exposes students in grades 3-6 to a variety of topics and offers hands-on, educational sessions.
The conference features many areas of science and nature, allowing students to learn how science plays a part in our world, environment, home, space, earth, life, and technology. Instruction is innovative, active, and designed by grade level for maximum student learning and participation.
Above and below are some photo highlights of the North students attending the Science and Nature Conference at Gustavus!
