Adapted bowling state medal winners

Cooper Johnston placed fifth in PI Boys Singles while Jayda Marroquin ended up seventh in CI Girls Singles to bring home state tourney medals for the Minnesota River Strike Force adapted bowling team. The Strike Force is a paired program featuring athletes from Saint Peter High School and Le Sueur-Henderson High School.

The Minnesota State Adapted Bowling Tournament was held Friday, May 10 at Bowlero in Brooklyn Park.

The Strike Force also had four other groups that placed in the top-15 at state. Those groups included Abby Voeltz and Abby Schily (10th place in CI Doubles), Jayda Marroquin & Hamie Sirovy (11th place in CI Doubles), Ashlee Miller (12th in ASD Girls Singles), and Judd Wartman & Paul Warzecha (14th place in CI Doubles). Leading the Strike Force at state were head coach Kris Voeltz and her assistant coach Keith Bense.
