Saint Peter High School continues to demonstrate strong academic performance and student success, as reflected in its most recent graduation data. For the Class of 2024, SPHS achieved a graduation rate of 94.32%, which exceeds both the state average (84.2%) and federal ESSA accountability benchmarks (92%).

The SPHS Class of 2024 graduation rate is nearly two percentage points higher than the previous year’s graduation rate of 92.5%, which was also above the state average for that year of 83.3%.

This graduation rate is a direct reflection of our dedicated staff, strong student support systems, and engaged families.

“While our goal is always 100%, a graduation rate of 94.32% is something to celebrate! We have developed a system to support students and families throughout all four years of high school,” SPHS Principal Annette Engeldinger said. “Getting students across that graduation stage takes a system that focuses not only on passing classes and earning credits, but also on attendance, behavior, and mental health. I’m incredibly proud of the work of our teachers and support staff.”

These results show that Saint Peter High School is not only graduating the vast majority of its students, but also working with purpose to close gaps and ensure all students have the opportunity to succeed.

Saint Peter High School administration and staff remains committed to:

  • Early identification and intervention for at-risk students

  • Expanding culturally responsive teaching practices

  • Strengthening family engagement in the graduation process

  • Maintaining a rigorous yet supportive academic environment

While SPHS celebrates the success of the Class of 2024, we also view this data as a call to continue to push forward – ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has the support needed to graduate ready for college, career, and life beyond high school.
