Saint Peter High School

Saint Peter High School's Jazz Band is hosting a joint concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23, at the Performing Arts Center. Admission to the concert is $5 per person and features both the Saint Peter High School (directed by Dave Haugh) and the Cleveland High School (directed by Erik Hermanson) Jazz Bands.

The concert will also feature guest trumpet player Kirk Garrison, who appeared with us several years ago. Kirk is currently the professor of jazz studies at Elmhurst University near Chicago. He also plays in the Lieutenant Dan Band with actor Gary Sinise, a group that plays USO and other events around the world to raise money for disabled veterans. Kirk is a native of Truman, MN, and an alumnus of both Mankato State University and the U.S. Air Force Band.

Tickets are $5, at the door only, and the proceeds are being used to offset the cost of bringing Kirk Garrison to Minnesota. See the accompanying flyer for more details!
