Saint Peter High School

Congrats to Saint Peter High School junior Micah Stoll, a member of the Nordic Storm FTC Robotics Team #5962, for being named a FIRST Leadership Award finalist following the Minnesota FTC State Championships last month.

This was the third year in row the Nordic Storm made it to state as a team, and Stoll led the way with his FIRST Leadership Award. He was nominated by his mentors and interviewed by judges at the state tournament where he was selected to be one of four finalists from a pool of 27 semifinalists. 

The students who earn this honor are great examples of student leaders who have led their teams and communities to increased awareness for FIRST and its mission. The top ten winners from the FTC program will be announced at the FIRST World Championship event in Houston at the end of April. Micah and his family will be attending that event to find out if he's a winner in that contest!
