SPHS DECISION DAY HIGHLIGHTS - On Friday, May 1, Saint Peter High School celebrated National Decision Day! On this day, we recognized all of our graduating seniors' plans (College/university, military, workforce, etc.) by serving cake during lunch while displaying the seniors' future plans on the big screen for all to see! A big thank you to Mrs. Shoemaker's Baking and Pastries class for decorating our cakes this year. Here are some photo highlights from the day of recognition! SPHS Project 4 Teens visited Mr. Bartholow’s eighth-grade Geography classes at Saint Peter Middle School today to talk about healthy relationships. This is an annual visit to discuss issues such as dating, boundaries, consent, and more.
SPMS 8TH GRADERS VISIT SAINT PETER HIGH SCHOOL - Eighth graders from Saint Peter Middle School had the chance to tour their new educational home starting next fall when they visited the Saint Peter High School building on Wednesday afternoon.

SPHS ART STUDENTS VISIT OUR NATION'S CAPITAL - Last week, Saint Peter High School art students traveled to Washington, D.C., with their art teacher, Eva Hendrickson, for an immersive cultural experience. The group explored Smithsonian museums, toured the architecture and monuments of Capitol Hill, and visited historic sites in Alexandria and Mount Vernon. SPHS ALL-NIGHT GRAD PARTY FUNDRAISER INFO - The SPHS All-Night Grad Party committee is hosting a pork chop dinner fundraiser (drive-thru only) from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13. The meals can be picked up on the east side/main office side of SPHS. See the accompanying flyer for more details!
A group of 16 Saint Peter High School Spanish students in grades 9-12, led by SPHS Spanish instructor Vero Castillo-Clark, headed to the Concordia Language Villages in rural Bemidji on Thursday morning for a weekend immersion camp! The camp is part of Concordia Language Villages’ language immersion programs for school groups. Here are a couple of photos of the group's departure from SPHS!

SPECIAL GUESTS VISIT WITH SPHS 9TH GRADE CHOIR -The MAYC (Mankato Area Youth Choir) was on tour on Thursday morning, and visited Saint Peter High School! The purpose of their visit was a stop at Bri Bergstrom's choir classroom to meet with the Saints Choir (9th graders).
"We have 3 St. Peter students that sing in MAYC - Lucas Chambers, Himalaya Harrison, Ava Grunzke," Bergstrom said. "So it was amazing to have them visit with the rest of the ninth grade choir students!"

SAINTS' TRACK TEAMS RECEIVE PRESEASON RECOGNITION - The Saints' girls and boys track & field teams received some preseason honors recently, as the girls, who are the Class AA State True Team defending champs, have been ranked first in the Minnesota Track & Field Coaches Association's preseason rankings. The Saints' boys are receiving votes in the AA boys rankings. The Saints' first meet is Friday, March 20, at 4 p.m. at MSU-Mankato's indoor track.
SPHS BAND EARNS SUPERIOR RATINGS - Saint Peter High School's Concert Band participated in the Section Large Group Contest on Wednesday at Tri-City United High School and they earned superior ratings from all three judges. The Concert Band, under the direction of Dave Haugh, performed Infinity and Deus Ex Machina during the contest.
