BAND CONCERT FOR PROSPECTIVE NEW MEMBERS - Several members of the Saint Peter High School Concert Band, under the direction of Dave Haugh, put on a short concert at the Saint Peter Middle School gym on Wednesday afternoon. Attending the concert were the SPMS 5th-grade class as well as 6th-grade band students. Haugh said the purpose of this performance was to give 5th graders, who have the chance to choose a musical instrument soon, a close-up look at the SPHS musicians and hear them perform.

SPPS CONCERT REMINDERS FOR THIS WEEK - Today (Tuesday) starts a busy three-day stretch for Saint Peter High School’s Performing Arts Center, as a school-related music concert of some kind will take place over the next three evenings on the PAC stage. SPMS 8TH GRADERS VISIT SAINT PETER HIGH SCHOOL - Eighth graders from Saint Peter Middle School had the chance to tour their new educational home starting next fall when they visited the Saint Peter High School building on Wednesday afternoon.

SCIENCE ON SATURDAY EVENT! Gustavus Adolphus College’s Chemistry Club and Saint Peter Community & Family Education are teaming up to sponsor a “Science on Saturday” event on Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to noon with registration closing on Monday, April 6. Kids in grades 1-6 are invited to attend!

This event includes stations and activities from the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics, sustainability, and geology. Each station will have either an interactive component, a fun demo to watch, or both!
