


SPPS CONCERT REMINDERS FOR THIS WEEK - Today (Tuesday) starts a busy three-day stretch for Saint Peter High School’s Performing Arts Center, as a school-related music concert of some kind will take place over the next three evenings on the PAC stage. The following is a list of this week’s FREE concerts:
* Tonight (Tuesday, May 12) - SPMS 6th Grade Choir Concert, 6 p.m. (PLEASE NOTE: This is the correct time. It was incorrectly reported in last weekend's Saints Connect schedule.)
* Wednesday, May 13 - SPMS Band (gr. 6-8), 6 p.m.; SPHS Spring Band Concert (gr. 9-12), 7:30 p.m.
* Thursday, May 14 - South Elementary Concert, kindergarten at 6:15 p.m.; 1st grade at 6:45 p.m.

NORTH 4TH GRADERS GET EARLY TOUR OF MIDDLE SCHOOL BUILDING - Fourth graders from North Elementary took turns this week visiting Saint Peter Middle School during the afternoon hours, to get an early look at where they'll be attending classes starting this fall. Here are some photo highlights of Michelle Doose, SPMS school counselor, giving tours to students from Mrs. Nixon's and Ms. Zitur's 4th-grade classes.















The freshmen-to-be were given guided tours of several areas of the SPHS facility, led by student leaders from the SPHS chapter of the National Honor Society. They also had the chance to meet some of the teaching staff. Here are some photo highlights!











SCIENCE ON SATURDAY EVENT! Gustavus Adolphus College’s Chemistry Club and Saint Peter Community & Family Education are teaming up to sponsor a “Science on Saturday” event on Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to noon with registration closing on Monday, April 6. Kids in grades 1-6 are invited to attend!
This event includes stations and activities from the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics, sustainability, and geology. Each station will have either an interactive component, a fun demo to watch, or both!

The Saint Peter Middle School bands (gr. 6-8) take to the PAC stage first at 6 p.m., followed by the SPHS Band’s Pre-Greece Trip Concert taking over at 7:30 p.m. Both concerts are FREE and open to the public! The SPHS Band (gr. 9-12) will be traveling to Greece the week of March 27-April 4.

DRIVER EDUCATION REMINDER - The Spring Driver Education classroom training begins at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, in room 119 at Saint Peter Middle School, for those who have signed up. If you wish to sign up for our summer classroom sessions, please contact Mrs. Clementson at the high school at sclementson@stpeterschools.org.

THANK YOU SPPS SCHOOL COUNSELORS! National School Counseling Week 2026 is this week (Feb. 2–6), with the theme "School Counselors Amplify Student Success". This week highlights the essential, proactive, and comprehensive impact of over 131,000 school counselors in supporting students' academic, career, and social/emotional development.
